When is useful?

What exactly happens?

With a light breast lift, cut only around the nipple and remove the excess skin. In a mid-thoracic lift, an additional incision is made from the lower middle of the nipple to the lower breast crease. With this method, more skin can be removed. In the case of a strong tightening, an additional cut is made horizontally in the breast fold to the sections of the middle breast lift, whereby a maximum of excess skin can be removed. A breast lift is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes about two to four hours, depending on the effort of the procedure.

Who pays the costs?

Since a breast lift is an aesthetic procedure, the costs usually have to be paid by yourself. The amount of the costs depends on the extent of the intervention. Seemingly cheap deals are very tempting, but be careful with bargain prices. Be sure to be intensively advised by several cosmetic surgeons. The cost of a serious and sensible, starts at around 2,000 – 2,500 euros and increases with the size and cost of the procedure.
What happens after the operation?

After the procedure, you should stay in the clinic for at least one night as the breast lift is usually performed under general anesthesia. To prevent swelling, you will be given a bandage that will be worn for about six weeks. During the healing process, regular checks should be made and physical exertions should be avoided.

It is therefore important to inform yourself very intensively about the risks and possible consequences of an operation as breast lift is a surgical procedure.
